I love this building, I think it's highly underrated and not talked about much, give it some of the attention it deserves! :D

i do! it looks simple, yet so elegant!

but i wish 1 battery park plz and 1 state st plz buildings behind it weren't that lame as 17 state.

many of the downtown nyc buildings r quite underrated, like american int'l and 60 wall. both r great but not as well known as others in midtown.

I loove that building it is kinda smooth, like the tip of manhattan rounding off

Anyone notice the coincidence that the tower is located in Battery Park, and looks to me kind of like a battery? Or am I just going nuts?

Hmm, it's not a ugly tower, it's ok, but it's not my style! I prefer the block just behind this one!

This one reminds me of Istanbul...

Too me this is the first building that catches my attention when I look at pictures of Manhattan.
This building needs more attention so does 60 wall street.

Supposedly, 17 State follows the original curve of the tip of Manhattan, back when it was first settled by the Dutch. (And btw, I love this building, too. :))

unexcitingly typical...

I can expect this generic variant of modern architecture of some medium-size Chinese city with a name the Americans have never heard of.

the interior is pretty nice
i once went here to park the car here, but the garage was not that impressive :)

Perfect location for this tower. That's what makes it so great.

I think it on of the best glass buildings you can find in nyc. Its alignment with the curve of the island and the combination with the park in front of it is just a great addition. :)

It's been among my favorites since back when I was just getting into skyscrapers.
