i don't really like that building,but media-hafen at all is great!

What a piece of sh!t and a financial disaster so far, because not many businessnes want their offices there. Will Alsop is a terrible architect- thankfully this is his only major project in Germany.

Ahh, so that's who it's by. :)

That explains the wacky shape and gaudy colours.

I'm a fan of some of his work (Palestra, and Peckham Library), but this looks a bit over-the-top to me. It sticks out like a sore thumb and does little to enhance its surroundings.

Really crazy and unusual design, but also rather ugly...
7,5/10 - because it's original ;)

I don't understand this low rating!!!! Colorium isn't that ugly. And obviously no one ever has experienced Medienhafen nightlife!!!!

OMG, I've seen this building hundreds of times. It's one of the images used on the homepage of Emporis, except it doesn't look as colourful in this small image - the overhanging roof was what I recognised.

Asthetically it does look a bit awkward but this building gets points from me for being so colourful & unique. We always need some buildings that disregard normal conventions like that. 7/10
