Yes, and very very nice people. A colleague of mine was first time in Belgrade, and he was so surprised about how people stopped us, after hearing us speak Romanian, asking us how we liked it there. Where we are from. One guy asked me to tell him how we say "open the door" - "deschide ușa" (he knew almost the words), and the custom say on Easter, he knew only the first part "Christos a înviat", I completed the other for him "Adevărat a înviat".

am niște nelămuriri legat de Belgrad și MNE...aș vrea să merg cu cineva în muntenegru,încă nu e nimic stabilit,dar mă gândeam dacă pot să intru în serbia cu câțiva litri de benzină,ca să nu rămân pe acolo fără benzină...te controlează la graniță în portbagaj?
se poate ajunge în muntenegru numai cu buletinul,ca în ungaria,de exemplu?
am citit că mulți au fost opriți de poliție aiurea,au trebuit să cotizeze..cum e pe acolo?sunt multe mașini de poliție la pândă?
drumurile sunt bune?
peisajele chiar sunt frumoase,comparabile cu Transfăgărășanul?
e vorba de mulți bani,aș avea 2000km de mers și vreau să fiu sigur,nu să cheltuiesc banii și apoi să îmi pară rău.
e adevărat că e plin de gunoaie?
ar fi bine să fie frumos,pentru că ungaria nu mi-a plăcut,nici bulgaria,nici grecia(chiar dacă am văzut-o numai în poze,mii de poze)

Daca nu ti-a placut Grecia sau Bulgaria, atunci las-o mai bine balta, inca de pe acuma. (si economisesti si bani) Iti garantez, ca nici Muntenegru nu-ti va placea. ;)

Exista si acolo benzinarii, nu cred ca trebe sa-ti iei cu tine, alimentezi inainte de granita undeva, si apoi din Serbia/Muntenegru.

Eu am mers deja de mai multe ori la sarbi, nu ne-a oprit nimeni niciodata, si am trecut pe langa radare si politisti. Daca respecti viteza legala (80 km/h pe drumuri nationale, 100 km/h pe magistrale, si 120 km/h pe asutostrazi, nu va avea nimeni treaba ta). Daca nu, sunt sanse bune sa te opreasca si dai un 20 de euro si apoi iti si arata drumul cel mai bun. De asemenea luminile de intalnire tot timpul aprinse, si fara faruri de ceatza aiurea.

Plin de gunoaie ma indoiesc ca e, dar sunt gunoaie, la fel ca in Romania.

Ce pot sigur sa-ti spun, sarbii sunt f primitori si de treaba.

80 km/h pe drumurile nationale si 120 km/h pe autostrazi? Nu inteleg tarile care pun limite "artificiale" de viteza pe sosele in afara oraselor. Pe langa ca gradul de respectare este (probabil) scazut, cum se intampla in cazul setarii limitei prea jos, dar este si contra-productiv.

Vitezele de 90 km/h pe DN si 130 km/h pe autostrazi mi se par un "must" in sec XXI.

Na, pai eu ce sa fac daca ei asa le-or facut? Parte din drumurile alea is destul de inguste, dar au si magistrale unde limita e 100 km/h. Acuma 120, 130, nu-i asa mare diferenta. Sarbii, am vazut ca nu le suporta tot timpul, eu nu mi-am facut de cap.

Dar ce zici de vitezele din UK, sau Olanada? Au si altii tot felu de idei "originale".

Eu is de parere, mergi in alta tara, arati respect, si vei fi respectat.

Cetăţenii români nu au nevoie de viză de intrare în Bosnia şi Herţegovina, pentru călătorii care nu depăşesc 90 de zile în decurs de 6 luni de la data primei intrări.

Here are some pictures from the Aviation Museum, which is close to Belgrade Airport. I won't say a lot about the airplanes mainly because the information showed near each aircraft was just in Serbian (with some exceptions). I noticed that the airplanes that are shown outside are old and rusty, but the ones that are displayed inside looked clean and well mantained (although this ones were also old).

Frumoase toate pozele. In Serbia n-am fost, si nici nu mi-am dorit pan'acum s'ajung, insa din ce-am vazut in poze, Belgradu' pare-a fi un oras frumos, curat si civilizat, si are cateva cladiri frumoase rau. Stiu cu certitudine ca dintre vecini doar Budapesta-i peste capitala noastra, insa nu stiu unde se situeaza Belgradu-n comparatie cu Bucurestiul. Presupunand ca ambele orase si-ar termina de lustruit patrimoniul si s-ar trage linie, care-ar fi pozitiile ?

Pot spune ca mi-a placut Belgradul. E un oras frumos. Nu se compara cu Budapesta, dar e frumos. Cat despre Belgrad vs. Bucuresti, nu stiu ce sa spun. Fiecare oras are particularitatile sale, dar parca in Belgrad nu am vazut atata mârlănism cat am vazut in Bucuresti, iar pentru asta eu zic ca câstigă.

Oricum, am auzit pe cineva spunand ca a fost in Belgrad in 2001, imediat dupa razboi, iar orasul arata intradevar ca dupa razboi. Pot spune ca acum nu se mai vede nici o urma a razboiului de acum 13 ani (cu exceptia cladirii din poza care am inteles ca o vor lasa asa pe post de monument + ce am vazut la muzeu).

The museum looks decent, except for the outside exhibition, which seems to be in poor shape, but still better than what we have.Decent?
It is one of the best aeronautics museum in the World with 50 years tradition and with many rare aeroplanes, that have millions in value. A few of the aircraft on display are the only surviving examples of their type, the museum owns over 200 aircraft.

Frumoase poze Bogdymol:cheers: Mie imi place si Belgradul chiar daca Bucurestiul il vad peste capitala sarbilor, mi-au placut si pozele de la muzeu dar pacat de avioanele alea de afara (am vazut si un Junkers Ju-52 pe acolo, pacat de el pentru ca nu se afla intr-o stare prea buna,un avion vechi care a fost si in dotarea armatei romane dar noi nu mai pastram asa ceva:ohno:).

Here are few pictures from Ada bridge in Belgrade. I'm sorry for the quality, but I had time to go there just during the evening and all the pictures are taken from my moving car. I drove around the bridge but I couldn't find a parking space nearby to take some decent pics of the bridge... and during nightime that area (on the right side of Sava river) didn't look too friendly :D Also, the hotel receptionist advised us to stay at the hotel during the evening because it was the election day and there would be some action in the city after they close the pools :naughty:

Anyway, I have to say that the bridge was spectacular. It was one of the coolest bridges I ever drove on :okay:

^^ din poze/video mi se pare ca sarbii sunt peste noi; un rus mi-a zis totusi ca la noi (la nivel de tara nu doar capitale) se vede ca e mai dezvoltat decat in fosta Iugoslavie ?!!??! parerea ta (altora) care este ?!

In materie de infrastructura, cel putin in jurul capitalei sunt peste noi, sau cel putin asta e impresia mea. La ei sunt o gramada de drumuri vechi, dar care asa cum sunt isi fac treaba cu brio (vezi autostrada Belgrad-Macedonia).

In materie de constructie actuala, iarasi mi se pare ca sunt un pic peste noi, pentru ca nu stiu cum fac, dar fac rost de bani pentru o gramada de proiecte asta fara sa fie membrii UE!

Nu am vizitat niciodata Belgrad, dar cel putin din filmuletul tau bogdymol , simt ca este filmat mai degraba intr-un oras din Austria decat unul din Balcani, si tot din filmuletul tau am impresia ca Bucurestiul, din punct de vedere al infrastructurii rutiere este cu 20 de ani in urma Belgradului. Incercati un exercitiu de imaginatie cum arata „noua” centura a Bucurestiului si cum arata intersectiile si acum uitati-va la cum arata centura si intersectiile din Belgrad , facute cu multe zeci de ani inainte , intr-o tara ne membra UE.

I'm planning to make a trip to Belgrade in a month or so(as soon as it cools a little.. it's far too hot to have long walks, I guess, in this area, right now). I have a few questions:
- how about accommodation? I mean cheap accommodation(like hostels). I'm planning to use the money for other things(restaurants, entry fee in museums etc; and clubs.. I heard very nice things about clubs there)
- parking lots(if it's easy to find a spot and how much does it usually cost(per hour and per day)
- public transport.. If I leave the car in some parking lot , is it easy to use the public transport to get to different places in the city(and how much does it cost)?

My accomodation was at Residence Apartments (http://www.booking.com/hotel/rs/apartments-residence.en-gb.html?sid=d7d4d261f7171dddb3e051ae89244193;dcid=2) and I must say that if I'll ever come back to Belgrade I will stay there again. Instead of one room+bathroom what I've tought I booked, I've got one room + bathroom + living room + (fully equipped) kitchen + balcony. It was 160 RON/night for 2 persons without breakfast but with underground car parking and high-speed wi-fi.

Am vazut pentru prima data Budapesta in anul 1979(o vizita de cinci zile), apoi venind din RFG am trecut prin Belgrad in anul 1986. Ambele metropole dunarene erau in acele timpuri cu cel putin 30 de ani in fatza Bucurestiului. Dupa anii 2000, Bucurestiul recuperaza f. rapid, foarte mult, intrarea Romaniei in NATO si din 2007 in UE a adus pentru Bucuresti chiar un plus de atractivitate fatza de Belgrad(care dupa 1999 a decazut mult fatza de trecutul orasului alb)...
Budapesta e altfel..., e la distanta fatza de Bucuresti, cu sigurantza s-a mai redus acea diferenta care exista in anul 1979, totusi, Budapesta e un Cluj si Timisoara urias, cat Bucuresti si ca intindere chiar mai mare..., plus Dunarea, care in cazul sau ajuta enorm.

Cineva vorbea de civilizatia din Belgrad. E normal, milioane de jugoslavi au lucrat timp de doua generatii(!!) in Vest, dar nu in Spania si Portugalia, ci in nord, in Germania, Elvetia, Olanda, Austria, Suedia, s-au intors acasa mereu si au facut presiuni serioase asupra politicului pentru constructia de autostrazi, pentru modernizarea Jugloslaviei, plus ca inca din anii 70 ei trimiteau acasa sute de milioane DM, construiau case chiar si cu materiale din RFG, etc.etc.
