You could call it simply bland and inoffensive, but then they had to slap some big, ugly signage on top. Yuck.

What does the base of this tower look like?

I don't particularly like this one myself, though it's not that bad. It's not the shape that many think, it is triangular, not rectangular.

Nice pic of the base! I've seen this with a few Aus. towers, incorporating (or sorrounding) a historical structure at the base. How common is this? I appreciate it.

So is the twr entrance through the classical bldg or the Po-Mo facade to the left? Is there any portion of the tower's shaft which reaches street frontage or is it completely hemmed in by low structures?

The entrance is that modern looking part of the facade. The classic looking facade, the modern facade, and facade to the left of that is actually the same building, and the building serves as Santos House's lobby.

Pretty dull. Nice base though. 6.0

Not the best building in the world but it is very clean compared to other towers.
