I love this neighborhood

Great compilation of photos! It is especially interesting to see the different housing styles in this neighbourhood.

Astoria looks good but I expected to see a better neighborhood.

Astoria is improving, and it'd be better if the city can put the subway underground!

I always thought Astoria was the best neighborhood to live in Queens. It's proximity and accessibility to Manhattan and the whole vibe of the place is very friendly and a bit European-esque with its sidewalk cafes and restaurants offering outdoor seating when the weather is good~

Some of the housing is so British

Ahhh, I was raised in Astoria. Went to Mt. Carmel and the to St. Johns Prep.

I know they closed down Mt. Carmel school but did they tear down the building? What is there now?
