Feng shui info:

The Gardens of Bishan condominium consists of 4 blocks of 20-storey condominium units.

http://www.myhome.com.sg/gardensbishan/images/4animals1.gif

The 4 blocks: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Reminds me of Vivaldi's popular classical baroque music: The Four Seasons. This soothing music is said to bring one's heart beat down to 70 beats per second.

2. Applied Shapes and Form Feng Shui in action

Overall, this condominium project scores highly in Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui. The Gardens at Bishan is a good example of `Applied Shapes and Form Feng Shui in action'.

The 4 condominium blocks are arranged in a U-shaped and it tries to take advantage of water features to provide clear space at the frontage of this condominium.
http://www.myhome.com.sg/gardensbishan/images/topdownviewb.jpg

The frontage of the condominium has several water features such as the Main Pool, Lap Pool, Water fountain and water features and greenery.

3. High Ground behind the development

The high ground behind the development like the tortoise shell, `acts' as a hill to provide `solid backing' for the back of the condominium.

4. Semi-circular Water Feature

In addition, it also has a Traditional semi-circular water feature that radiates outwards of the frontage of the condominium. Please see below:-
http://www.myhome.com.sg/gardensbishan/images/mingtang.jpg

5. Dragon Qi is not trapped

Another interesting feature is the low club house at the centre of the development. This allows `dragon' qi to flow freely from the back of the development towards the front.

Re: Gardens at Bishan

Interesting. Is it completed yet or what? What does it look like now?
It sure looks massive. How many buildings does it consist of?

although the architecture of this project is quite run-of-the-mill, the gardens look quite impressive... conservancy fees must be very high...

Muahahaha..the architecture makes it really stand out. I saw it as I was going down Sin Ming Avenue from the south, and it really loomed up into view in an overwelming way....maybe coz they are so fat and not too tall? :D

Yah, very.Well, not really 'a few units' though, but rather less.Only 2 of the 4 towers' units' lights are on.

Why your exam at there?!

I can see it from my house, all 4 towers head-on!

Very imposing!
Sometimes the sun has great effects on it.

I'm taking CLB, remember? So the oral exam wasn't held in school but at peirce, since they have the most CLB students in the area.

My friend lives in Gardens at Bishan. Completed in 2003? The building does not resemble the architecture of that era.
