View Full Version : Reason for Editing?

I edit my posts all the time - there are always spelling mistakes/poor grammar that I'd like to improve.

But why should we fill in a box saying why we have edited our posts? Do moderators see this information? What is the point in it? And does anyone actually fill it in?

Can it not be removed? It's clutter.

Yes we need the editing option but I'm questioning why we need to say why we've edited our posts!

But you don't have to say why you've edited your posts! Just leave the box blank if you want to.
