So you might be asking what with all the new threads

Well I have been kicking in and out of Dubai for the last few months. But recently decided to stay in Dubai. So any way if this is to be y home the I though I would try to wrap my head around the many projects going in the UAE. + Give me some thing out side the in repressive heat.

So any though I would give the UAE area some structure it’s easier to track the development of many projects across the UAE. I currently live on SSR so have started there. I have just been putting up details and developments as I find them out. Add you own photos so we can track each building development. And any info or corrects you have please post them to each new thread. Hope this format helps bring more people to this sub forum and greater understanding to us all

Trances, i just came in this forum after a long time, and wow, i was impressed by the amount of work you have put into the uae section. You have done a great job in putting threads about underconstruction buiding :okay:.Not to mention you even went inside the construction site and took pictures of it. All the new buildings are terrific and so futuristic. Most of them are very tall!

Well, more and more people these days are deciding to make dubai their new home which is good. May i ask whats your reason to live in dubai now? Yeah! this way everyone gets the detail about each building, but i am a little confused about the buildings in dubai marina, its soo many that its had to keep track of. I know some famous ones from the marina, but i found many which were hidden.

Since you live in a building on SZR, can you give us a good picture from your window/balcony of the dubai city! It would be greatly appreciated!

So little more about me
I am living with my sister in Up tower (the one that looks like a pen)
She works for Emirates the air line i work for a IT solutions company only started a few days ago. What eles that about it for now
I am trying to get some order in to these threads.
I love dubai and whats going on here. I know thedevelopment of all these threads are slow give me like 2 weeks and will have it all in order. As i know some images are missing and wrong place and I need a lot more data. Its all coming !

Raffles I would like to get some more sections in here as follows but what do you think first i would like everyones input please before we do this ok
[-]City Images, Skyscrapers, Architecture and Urban Spaces ( for photos of Dubai and other parts of the UAE. LIke your trips and walks and sky lines and sun sets etc
[-]Development forums ( and under that two sub areas)
---[-] Dubai ( PROJECTS and constrction that is going on towers and other public works )
---[-] Other Emirates ( SOrry just not Big enough yet to support any others but they are importand still)
[-] News and Events ( just topic talk and gossip about UAE and our lives and such ( all so it needs a special name (this section ) that is suited to UAE help me out guys and girls )

Trances I have added something in the prevoius thread but essensially Im trying to do the same thing as you and get some order with the developments in Dubai for skyscrapers.com the worlds largest and most concise directory of tall structures.Its seems Fortuitous that we are here together so Im sure we wont miss any thing .

My advice is that you can have a projects section for all those construction threads, and all the rest stays together for now as there isnt too much else or a very large UAE community yet. :cool:

If you do get a projects forum, make it orgainzed with the thread titles and mabye a thread stuck to the top that has links to all the threads since there is a ton going on in the city. Would be awsome.
