Not sure who the current owners are, but a developer of Indian descent who held title to the land decided to take over the site on soi 27 where The Radisson appears to be rising, when he was told he would not be allowed to build a high-rise (or his floor target) behind the Holiday Inn.

He may have kept it or sold out!

wow - radisson is across th soi 27 from Corwne palza right? heard transaction went for over 1mil a wah. well the site is larger and deeper than the one in soi 22, so definitely can go taller.

I think the rich one here is the one who sold the land, made out with the money and held on to about 1/3 of the whole available plot between soi 25 and 27, where some odd-looking foodcourt and hostal is located.

If he happens to be smart as well, he will sell the remaining 1/3 left.

The final buyer got bank funding somehow.
