There were 13k people in arena and the atmosphere was great.

Actually nobody knows the official and exact capacity because it varies, depends on sports. For match Olimpija-Panathinaikos they even added some extra chairs, thats why the number 13k. Usually the number for basketball matches should be around 12.500.

There was more people inside (standing) because in second half they got in without tickets ;)

In my opinion no.
This mistake was made with Arena BG which now has capacity of 22,680 and only 19982 seats.
You have to count seats and not how many people you can squeeze inside ;)

In Greece they lie too, but they lie that there are less people than there really are :lol:. Apparently there were only 43,000 for the Champions League game between Panathinaikos and Copenhagen, when there were about 60,000 there. And for the barcelona game, they said there were only 58,000 there, when there were about 70,000 there :lol:. And for every single game they do this (in football only). They don't include season ticket holders so they make it seem like no one goes to the games :bash:

Tivoli would consequently become hockey-primarily arena, leaving Arena Stozice for basketball, handball, volleyball etc. With renovated Tivoli they would get something between 5.000 and 8.000(?) seats. More then enough what Ljubljana needs.

PS, same shame will also happen in new 1 billion $ Barclays Center in Brooklyn :/

I couldn't agree. If Slovenia wants to organize an Elite group ice hockey c'ships, I doubt this is enough. However, Arena Stozice would probably be OK, if the playground is lifted for a couple of meters.

The absence of constant ice in Stožice is the biggest problem, I think that is what HZS and IIHF ment. I hope we will not wait too long for renovation of Tivoli. With some luck, Jesenice will be renovated within a year or so.
