^^
Beautiful composition! I liked the way he left more room in front of the horse and less at the back instead of centering the animal as most amateurs would tend to do. That is the work of a professional!

Could have had a bit longer exposure, in my opinion. Looks a bit underexposed. But, then that is the opinion of an amateur.

i think the under exposure is what giving the pic its character..

i think the under exposure is what giving the pic its character..

The man on the horse would be underexposed thus forming a silhouetee but the other parts of the frame should be properly exposed. Here, even the sea and the waves are a little underexposed.

I don't mean to detract from the composition of this beautiful picture anyway.

but there lies the catch..
you expose it a bit more and you won't get the silhouette..
than one has to modify the image heavily..

thanks guys for those great responses for my 1st post here:)..
will really inspire me to come up with more..

btw, my fav among these is 'us and them'...the title attracted me to the picture(case of a die hard pink floyd fan getting attracted by one of their song names :) )...
pic wud've been better with a crop at the top...removing the unwanted elements there..
