In most mediterranean countrys like Israel (and Greece), the first days of January was really "hot" even in my country; instead now the temperature is 10 C (exactly now)

overhere it's around 20-22C during the day and 11-12C during the night... but from 2morrow it's gonna rain hard for the next few days...

water temp now is around 20C which is great for Europeans who r used to much colder temps :)

there are some older parts... around the city centre there are quite a few historic buildings that were built a 100 years ago... but if you're talking about older stuff, then Old Jaffa is much older :)
