This one is Sao Paulo's (Brazil) downtown seen through a rollercoaster:

This is Sao Carlos, a 200.000 inhabitants city located 230 km away from Sao Paulo:

WOW,

great !!!

Ancient Rome is the header of today. The picture is the model of ancient imperial Rome made in 1937. It is one of the biggest and most detailed models ever made of an ancient city. You can see it in the Museo della Civiltà Romana in Rome. :) The city portrayed in the model would have been a real metropolis for ancient times :

423 neighborhoods
1.790 Domus (houses for 1 family with garden)
46.620 Insulae (complex with more floors - first "skyscrapers" with 12/13 floors!)
856 public toilets
11 termal baths
190 warehouses
2 public markets
254 mills
11 Forums (Imperial, Roman, Augustus...)
10 main Temples
36 Marble Archs
1.052 fountains
28 libraries
2 Circus (stadiums : Circus Maximus the biggest object on the banner would have had 400 000 seats)
2 amphitheatres (Colosseum 50 000 seats and retractable roof)
3 big theatres
2 artificial lakes for the Naumachie (water wargames)
11 aquaducts
1 fire corps (the first one in the history)
1 Vigiles corps, one of the first policecorps in history

Well, the guys in the forum made some (and me too), it's up to you to choose which is gonna look better. The guys chose to write the country's name with S (the Portuguese version), so it's not an English mistake, it's just a nationalistic thing heheh....

Here they are:

@Ellatur

Bought it in Rome, 10 years ago on a school trip. I think it was in a big souvenir shop in the city center. Probably these posters are sold at many shops near tourist attractions in Rome. I don't know if you can buy them anywhere outside Rome and Italy.

Boom, I picked the one the guys liked the most, but next time try to keep the font sizing a bit more sedate. For us it's not really about Brazils independance that matters, but it's more a of reason to celebrate some of the Brazilian buildings. :)

and feel free to change them to your liking  Cheers!
Any suggestions?

It's the SunTimes Building in Chicago, which will be demolished. If you watched "The Apprentice", then you know what I'm talking about.

The guy who won the Apprentice. They're tearing the building down, and Trump is building the new supertall at the site. The winner of the TV show, Bill Rancic, is going to have a high level positition. I think he will be the developer.

The Apprentice. What a highbrow show! ;) Donald Trump. What a class act! :D

Thought the man had to declare bankruptcy ... how's he going to build a supertall?

Sorry, but in this global forum that banner would need a l-o-o-ong "explanation." Could you provide a link to a picture of this doomed edifice, please, Naptown? Plus any visuals of the successor building? :)
