@ Yardmaster: yes. If you want to submit one, feel free to do that here. Size is 709 x 79 pixels and you don't have to worry about the logo. I usually do these one week ahead, so posts that are over three weeks old show the wrong banner for it has been replaced by a new one.

Well, the guys in the forum made some (and me too), it's up to you to choose which is gonna look better. The guys chose to write the country's name with S (the Portuguese version), so it's not an English mistake, it's just a nationalistic thing heheh....

Bought it in Rome, 10 years ago on a school trip. I think it was in a big souvenir shop in the city center. Probably these posters are sold at many shops near tourist attractions in Rome. I don't know if you can buy them anywhere outside Rome and Italy.

Boom, I picked the one the guys liked the most, but next time try to keep the font sizing a bit more sedate. For us it's not really about Brazils independance that matters, but it's more a of reason to celebrate some of the Brazilian buildings. :)

Please consider some of these proposals for banners from Belgrade, Serbia,
