It topped out ages ago - they haven't completed the crown for fuck knows what reason initially, then there was the problem with the owner of the tower, Nina Wang, passing away.

Chinachem is quite notorious for going slow on some of its real estate developments. l'Hotel Repulse Bay has been sitting empty for a few years now and some of its residential projects are still being sold years after launching.

Nina Tower was on hold for a few years because of the financial issue with the corporation and other Wang's family problems in the 90s. It was half way up and didn't go any further for quite a while. Everything was solved out in the last few years and it has been going up again.

Nina Wang passed away had little influence on the construction phase as it only happened a few months ago wheen the building were pretty much done.

The logo on the glass window looks sort of like BMW (too blurry to be sure), and the only BMW that has such long a rear window is the 7 series L.

Hey, that's next to the incineration facility, right? The one they might tear down?

If I was in Hong Kong I'd probably drive or take a train to the location and ask a construction worker what is happening to the top. In front of my apartment they've been digging and putting pipes every where so one morning I just walked over and asked "what are you guys building here?"

He said they're building town homes for D.R. Horton. He was also talking about having to rip up our street to access a water line for those houses. I can't find any information on line but it's in Austin on Parmer Ln near RM 620.

EricIsHim

Talking about home, it reminded me there were rumors about top of Nina Tower was planned to be home for Nina Wang. If this is true, maybe Chinachemis is trying to figure out what are they going to do with the top floors as Nina passed away earlier this year. Just a guess.

I live in Tsuen Wan, and i love this tower so much...
every time when i hang around with my fd in my area, we always discuss about how this project have changed this part of the city.
also every single time when i walk around in Tsuen Wan...my eyes will look at this nice looking tower.

The lighting scheme is second to none.

When you take the highway from the airport into the city, Nina Tower creeps just after you pass by the Tsing Ma Bridge and head into Tsing Yi.

It commands a great position in Tsuen Wan. I think that the two towers form a great focal point, but would be complimented well by s few 150-200m office towers surrounding the complex.
