I like proposals 1 & 2. What is this building going to be used for?

Proposal 1 is beautiful but please don't tell me this building will be alone for a long time cause I hate buildings that stick out like a sore thumb and the renders make it look as if the surrounding buildings will all be small buildings at most.

Proposal #1 is the most original. A great looking crown.

my girlfriend is from Jinan, i might get to see the site this august.

The April Fools Joke has come :-) People will find out No way - thread titles always tell the truth, nothing but the truth.... so the Jinan Greenland Puli Center design has now been chosen for Manila's Gramery Residences. And motivated by the monthly salary, all the workers must've brought up this tower instantly in one giant rush. Looking forward for pics! ;)

I'm not sure what happen to the original thread of this tower. The post is about a tower in China while the thread Title is Manila/ Gramercy Residences. An April fool Joke?? Attention moderators!

I like proposal's 1 and 5 the most but they all look really good.

^^ Thread titles had been swapped for a few hours to celebrate 1st of April. The "partner" of Greenland Puli Center was Gramery Residences in Manila. Now mods have restored titles already... so this is JINAN. :)

I like the first one and the last one ;] But the place is way too 'heavy'. It seems, that there is only one site enclosed by huge freeways.

They said this one has actually 292.6m only, others say that's the height of the top floor while the parapet height is 308m. They didn't provide any source for this information.

Announcing 275-299.99m towers as '300m' towers is becoming more and more usual in China it seems. A worrying sign of unreliability from the developers.

We'll know the true height once SOM.com adds it to its website portfolio I guess.
