i believe now we have number of decent options in Khartoum but the prices are astonishing :bash:

worth mentioning is Italy Pizza which took a step forward and made a chain of nice good quality restaurants (as far as i know 2 in khartoum, 1 in omdurman and 1 in bahri)

There decor might not be the best and there service might not be great but no one does better food then amwaj.

Ethiopian, Ertirean, Ugandans, Tchadians and Yemeni girls can all look like Sudanese girls. The issue here is how you define a Sudanese girl!?! The responses you got from the people of this forum do not give a conclusive answer, it's as often expected, Northern Sudanese tend to ignore the fact that Sudan is a multi-ethnic nation. I'm sure Kitayabi and Desert Storm were referring to Northern Sudanese girls ONLY, who represent no more than 30% of the population of Sudan. Girls from Western Sudan (Darfur) and Central Sudan (Kurdufan) look pretty much like Chadians. Whilst girls from Northern Sudan can look like Yemenis, Ethiopians or Eritreans. Whilst those in Southern Sudan (Nilotes) are regarded as the darkest people in Africa, they share more of their culture with Northern Uganda and Kenya more than Northern Sudan.

Countries like India are also multi-cultral, but at least, the Indian Identity is something that is defined and shared by all. In Sudan, the story is different, as we have just started forming that identity, and little by little we are realising that in order to come out with an answer, we need to break up into two countries, at least for the time being. Those two can become three, and then four. If that happens, then I will comfortably tell you that (Northern Sudanese) in general look like Eritreans and Ethiopians, and even Somalis sometimes. In the sense that whether they are distinguishable or not, then I'd agree with Kitayabi that you can distinguish between an Ethiopian and a Sudanese. But I can also assure you that, although we have some fine women back home, still, Ethiopians are widely regarded as the finest in Africa. No one can argue that!

It´s good getting to know the culture and way of thinking of the people from a

different continent. Still it´s curious to find out that there are many similarities

between our visions about our neighbors. For instance, here in Latin America,

As for Sudanese girls, whether they are Northerners, Southerners or Westerners, I do not find anything special about them. In fact you will have to dig very deep to find an attractive Sudanese. We excel in war and hardships, which is pretty much enough for me as a Jaali man!

There is nothing racial about this comment by 'all' i meant a very very large portion of ethiopians and eritreans who immigrate to sudan are HIV positive , you can type in google and get the stats you want for that, i wanted to post the stats in here I just dont want to ruin the thread, or if you in Khartoum you can get an updated stats from Estak Labs where they estimate nearly 5000 eritrians who enter sudan on daily basis are infected with HIV and the number for ethiopians is much higher due to the fact they enter sudan even in larger proportions, before jumping to the thread and pointing fingers try to get your facts right got it!

My perception about some one from sudan isn't a group of ninja looking, freedom hating, fake arabs, bombers who sheltered Osama bin laden when he escaped from saudi, and of course who can forget darfur. As someone who has personal accounts of my father's friend who is from port-sudan, I see them as a good neighbor that one day when both nations have leaders that properly represent them, could work together to get rid of their common problems. We both have too many problems to count in one hand, but if you want your old Nubian kingdom back stop wining and learn something called diplomacy.

Someone having HIV virus is not an insult, it is a disease! So, I will leave that issue there, but my response as I said before isn't to say we have a low HIV rate, we probably don't and thats okay because now we are working on it. The point I was making was your usage of a country's problems to make a point to one forumer is WRONG, and there are better ways of handling it.
