thanx Yorktown when i first came to New Zealand in 1997 there was exactly 12 single Algerian men here including me but now there is a lot of Algerians who are coming to new zealand from places like France England and Australia because life is so easy here. lots of Egyptians and Moroccans here though.

no embassy the closest one is in Canberra Australia but they come to new zealand once a year . lol fate brought me to New Zealand i was trying to get in to Australia but i ended up in new zealand and i never been happier ever since lol

Great!!!! i'm happy for you too! I think the Algerians must choose new destinations for Emmigration and thrive, 85% of Algerians living abroad in France ... the remainder in Canada (Quebec) and then there's tiny community in the world, What we must broaden our horizons.:)

Yorktown, I totally agree with you.

I visited ‘The city of sails’ in July 2009 (Winter!!) .. Stayed in Auckland for few days then drove up to Rotorua and Lake Taupo (North Island) what an amazing landscape... The city is a relatively quiet and a pleasant place. Kiwis seemed friendy though. The British influence is striking and noticeable
(street names, towns...) My only regret... didn’t have a chance to visit the South Island.
