Post in this thread pictures and technical information of radio towers in Iceland.

I start with Hellissandur Radio Mast, the tallest man-made structure in Western Europe, which was built in 1963 for LORAN-C transmission and used since 1997 for longwave broadcasting on 189 kHz with 300 kW. It is 411.5 metres tall and electrically insulated against ground.

The radio mast near the golf course at the end of the Seltjarnarnes peninsula.

It looks that the tower is insulated against ground.
Is it used as a mast radiator for a NDB-transmitter?
