I am starting this thread to allow investors who have invested money via UK registered companies to be able to group and help one another. The money appears to have then sent onto Al Rahat Homes for projects that were never agreed to. The UK companies have then subsequently tried to liquidate themselves or worse managed to liquidate themselves without notifying creditors. The act of trying to shut down a company whilst still owing finances to creditors is not allowed in the UK and investors need to be aware of this.

What is the latest situation with regards to Seaview and Al-Rahat/Arooj Jumeirah/Arooj Palace?

Is there litigation?

I fully agree. I had invested with SeaView for Jumeirah Palace then they changed to Arooj Palace without notifying then they increased the price this was around early 2007. They also stated that the apartments will finish March 2010 and still nothing has been started for construction. I have already paid about £42,000 and then Seaview states that AlRahat Homes will be taking over. AlRahat homes contacted us for a few months & asked to sign the copy of SPA contract but don't hear anything anymore...TOTAL NOTHING!!!! Only today found out that no website and their telephone number in Dubai don't exist anymore. THEY HAVE DEFINITELY COMPLETED THE BIGGEST SCAM!!!
How do I get my money back????????? Someone please help me!!!
