you might have seen it on the news. It was the one where the cop got shot in spring branch or what the news kept calling northwest houston. Apparently two kids were trying to rob an apartment and an off duty cop that lives there went to go investigate it and they opened FIRE!!! :gunz:

My wife was home and heard at least 6 shots go off then a car burn off all crazy. Then within 2 minutes there were at least 6 other cops there and a news helicopter. I think only one of them actually hit the Cop.

what really gets me about this is I figured somthing like this might happen in my complex cause its a little run down imo. But NO, it happened at the Alexan next door which is a luxary condo complex with starting rent around $1200 a month. Not to mention they have security cameras all over the place there.

they did catch the two kids involved. they were actually really stupid, hard to beileve huh. but they parked in the parking garage while they were trying to rob the apartment and they got caught on video.

^^ death sentence for these 2 idiots. the law should be changed so that the death sentence can be handed out as swiftly and easily as those speeding tickets. i don't understand why hard working, ordinary people have to deal with these undesirable elements of society.

i know what you mean. i find it appalling that this situation has even happened. plus the complex that this happened in charges at $1200 a month rent and has police security and security cameras. you think this might have deterred this but unfortunately it didnt.
