- Situated next to Le Meridien Haifa (http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=138986), together they form the only major hotels in Haifa on the coast of the Mediterranean.
- The hotels proximity to the beach prompted a law in Israel prohibiting any future construction closer than 100 meters from the sea shore.

A very grand and interesting design. I like the materials and colours used for the facade. Looks like a giant gate.
