This architecture firm released this design in late 2008.
Maybe I'm seeing things but its quite similar.

It's slightly similar, but your's is way better.

Very similar, but I like yours better Mo. You have more "lines of sight", the other design is too enclosed, almost claustrophobic between the buildings. Yours integrates the entire village better, while the other tries to isolate areas within the village.
