I feel that Megaworld will have a project in the near future. i am not sure but there was an info that they showed an interest to buy a lot area about 10 hecs. but i think they are still in the study mode.

based on this picture, the 36 storey has a wider length as well as a wider width compared to the 20 storey adjacent to it. in order to confirm my estimate, i used a ruler. the taller one partly overshadows the shorter one which means its width is greater compared to the shorter building. of course, this is just my opinion. im not really 100% sure because im not the designer nor have i seen the actual floor plan

The Limketkai Group is now preparing to begin the construction of their second high rise building beside Limketkai Hotel.

Latest update onsite revealed they have already fenced the parking lot across McDonald’s and constructed what is now a new temporary encampment for workers and field engineers. A new gate was also established shown above just beside the huge billboard of the project.

A news release last year state that this building will be 33 storeys high and named it The Gateway Tower. Read press release HERE. As reflected in the billboard, this will be another hotel with a pool deck on the 3rd floor.

In my opinion and considering the height of the building, the first activity which is excavation works for the foundation will take at least 3-4 months and concreting works of foundation which will take another couple of months. Vertical construction will probably be made as early as April 2012 or by May-June 2012. Foundation works of adjacent Limketkai Hotel also took some months before vertical construction began. The building’s foundation is its main support and holds the key to the building’s stability.

Yeah...But Mr. Albino and the rest of the big investors like Ayala who have so much to lose just think otherwise. Maybe you're just one of the skeptics like what happened in the early 90's when LKKS built the first world-class mall outside Metro Manila, no offense.:)

And, the LKK Hotel is right beside the Gateway Center... The GC does have only 8 levels + a semi-9th floor... But, the first 2 levels have very high floor to ceiling heights... In fact, the first floor houses the 2 level Traveller's Pod...And, it's elevated compared to the hotel... If wala ang Gateway Center diha, we will be able to appreciate the real height of the LKK Hotel... Pero, wa na tay mabuhat kay murag motubo na man pud gani ang magulang ani... :okay:
