Sa mga Malls nga naa dinhi Bay xzibit only Gaisano lang ang wala nag renovate....are you saying na Gaisano Mall lang ang break even sa ila operations?? I am not in finance & accounts of these malls to speak but definitely not Gaisano mall, we can see how bustling it is even with close eyes..LKK underwent somewhat deserted at the time when SM enjoyed its opening that extends for several months but LKK bore down and gained back obviously.. Sakto ka bay burotski..... I'm sure dili gyud pud ang Gaisano.... makita man nato unsa sila kakusog..... sa ilaha lang gani supermarket gahout permi....SM ra pud sa akoa.....seguro gaining sila but there might be a time na break even lang sila... especially during weekdays nga medyo dili kaayo sila gadugokun.... kusog sila friday to sunday....

LKK's losses was a big issue sometime in early 2001-2003... with the current projects inside the complex, I think they've recovered from said losses. But as Mr. Alfonso Lim said:

"We can rely on tourists visiting here," Mr. Lim said. He said that Limketkai's development plans were not focused on profit.

sometimes companies write off their losses to focus on other types of businesses. LKK did this. but LKK really did not loose. they just broke even.

Looking at the layout, it is definetely different from the typical Ayala Mall where corridors are usually curving (like Ayala Center Cebu, Abreeza and Marquee) and wide. From the layout we can see that the corridors are narrow, a lot of them dont even have the "opening" (sorry for the lack of word as I dont know whats it is called lols) where you can see the floor below and those that do have narrow "openings"

Recently, the developers submitted their requirements at Barangay 24 where it is located. Part of its summary says that each hotel floor would have an estimated building footprint of around 810 square meters. the estimated Gross Floor Area is 7,600 sqms and the estimated constructed floor area of 10,000 sqms.

It will have a pre-cast exterior wall and window wall exterior with maximum 25% window-to-wall ratio.

The suites will have provisions for a kitchenette, telecom connection and cable TV wiring.

The whole hotel building will have a 100%back-up power and lighting with elevators designed for hotel building criteria. It will also have an integrated fire alarm and monitoring of sprinkler system and security and access control systems.

With these specs the building is expected to be the most modern and the most equipped in this part of the country. According to the presentation of the company the hotel will be “modern, contemporary, warm, simple elegance and sustainable”

In addition to the usual amenities in hotels such as a Lobby and Front Desk, they will also have an Executive Lounge, Business Corner, an Indoor and Al Fresco Restaurant, a Fitness Gym, Swimming Pool, Function rooms and a parking space for 50 to 55 cars.

Originally the plan was to build the mall first and the hotel after but according to our source the company has decided to build both the Mall and Hotel simultaneously.

Here is a tip. :nuts:

If you want to test to see if your image host will allow you to post images in the forum, change the query string on the end of the image URL.

The query string comes after the image filename in the URL. For example in this URL: http://test.com/image.jpg?blah
the query string is "blah".

So if you had an image URL: http://test.com/yourimg.jpg
when you post it in the forum type: http://test.com/yourimg.jpg&blah

By changing the query string of the URL you will force your browser to reload the image, rather then using a cached copy of the image. That is the problem with posting images from other websites sometimes is that if they do not allow hot-linking, you may not be able to tell because you are viewing cached image, while the other forumers won't be able to see the image at all.

This can get a little tricky with image URLs from some image hosts. Sometimes there is already a query string in the URL. If this is the case then just add "&blah" to the end.

For example, if the URL is something like this: http://test.com/gallery?id=1234
change it to this: http://test.com/gallery?id=1234&blah

Now of course all these URL's I have been giving as examples should be enclosed in [img] tags when you make your post. This way you will be able to see if the image is loading up or not.

And be sure to PREVIEW your post first, no sence in posting if the images do not end up being visable.

In his program over RPN- 5, Dxko, Mayor Vicente Emano announced that more big companies have signified their intentions to open in the city.The Power learned that initial talks have started for the establishment of branches of Rustans and La Coste here.Mayor Emano said these and more giant companies are coming.According to the mayor, Starbucks has also chosen the city as the site of its first branch in Mindanao. We understand the demand for such pictures as evidence to the ground breaking of Ayala Mall in CdeO, as edging doubt has been cast by a certain fellow Skyscraper Citizen. We'd take it his doubts much have come out his keen interest at the development of our city and his motivation for us CdeO's Tsadaboys to work better to deliver needed info with pictures as concrete evidence to all these development happening around Cagayan de Oro. We understand the demand for such pictures as evidence to the ground breaking of Ayala Mall in CdeO, as edging doubt has been cast by a certain fellow Skyscraper Citizen.
