A city gallery if I can find any pictures of the city!
Below, ruins of the Jesuit monastery. Gorgora prospered under the Catholic emperor Susenyos. When Susenyos fought and lost to make Ethiopia Catholic, the Jesuits were expelled and their monastery fell into ruin.

As you can see when you compare this to the first picture, restoration work is being done. Perhaps one day the monastery can be rebuilt.
