The entrance to the Nairobi National Museum has been demolished to pave way for the expansion of the road linking Uhuru highway and Thika road. :ohno:

This is the second time I feel real pissed off about the road expansion program. The first was in Nakuru when they cleared stretches of beautiful jacaranda trees to construct the dual carriageway.

I wonder how the contractor who built the gate didn't know that the gate was on a road reserve. Its painful watching a piece of art smashed to bits.

Those are two different parks separated by Kenyatta Avenue. If you stand on Kenyatta avenue facing the CBD, the park on your left is central park while the one on your right is Uhuru Park.

Im saying that this museum needs to be upgraded to handle more people and to have a ton of exhibits from every country in africa and other continents. Or they could build a better and bigger one a few miles away from this one???
