So, I was browsing through a website today, and came across rare and old pictures of Cairo and Egypt. Alot of these photos date back to 1880.

Beautiful pics, great idea of a thread, really interesting to see.

I saw some stunning old pics of Cairo somewhere, it looked exactly like paris, will do my best to find that again.

Here is a picture of the Immobilia Bulding in Cairo taken in 1939 when it was built. It had 200 apartments, about 80 offices and 40 shops. 23 Sherif Street. Of course the Pasha was removed after 1952:

and who said we can't go back? These elections were a fraud.... How did the islamists manage to win seats in resort cities? I mean, i don't believe any of these tourist cities would've voted for islamist... These elections were a fraud.
