Je pense aussi, en tout cas avant 1830 elle était plus peuplé qu'Alger ;)

Oui j'en est entendu parlé, El Eulma dans la wilaya de Setif sera une wilaya aussi, je suis pas très partisan de ça, mais bon, vue que chaque wilaya est obligé d'avoir une université, un grand hopital, etc... ça créera de nouveaux projets.

Au Maroc, le terme wilaya recouvre deux réalités distinctes :

C'est tout d'abord le nom donné à l'administration d'une des 16 régions du Maroc. À la tête de chaque Wilaya se trouve un Wali nommé par le Roi.
Les préfectures, collectivités territoriales de niveau inférieur à la région, et équivalent des provinces en zone urbaine, s'appellent en arabe, mais non en français, des wilayat. Il en existe 26, contre 45 provinces. Elles ont à leur tête un gouverneur, au même titre que les provinces.

Pendant la Guerre d'Algérie :
Pendant la guerre d'indépendance d'Algérie, le FLN et l'ALN,etc., adoptent un système d'organisation composé de 6 wilayas (civiles et militaires).

L'Algérie est divisée en quarante-huit collectivités territoriales appelées wilayas.

Je pense pas qu'ils soient dans des partis...le wali de Blida par exemple été a Tizi il y a 2 ans, et il a été muté ailleurs selon la volonté de président.
En Algérie le gouvernement veille a ce que chaque wali ne sois pas originaire de la wilaya qu'il gouverne pour qu'ils ne favorise pas les gens de sa famille ou de son clan.

C'est le maire qui gouverne la région, chaque préfecture et province a un wali (gouverneur), même moi je ne sais pas vraiment ce que c'est que la différence entre une préfecture et une province! Mais si on prend la région du Grand Casablanca comme exemple:

Préfecture de Casablanca ==> regroupe plusieurs préfectures, les quartiers de la ville...

C'est le maire qui gouverne la région, chaque préfecture et province a un wali (gouverneur), même moi je ne sais pas vraiment ce que c'est que la différence entre une préfecture et une province! Mais si on prend la région du Grand Casablanca comme exemple:

Oui au Maroc c'est assez compliqué! Une espèce d'hierarchisation des échelons comme une pyramide, chaque ville a un maire, un wali du chef lieu, un gouverneur, des kaids, des préfets... et qui a plus de pouvoir que l'autre? Telle est la question! :D

Franchement j'en sais trop rien :) je viens de chercher, apparement Mohammedia a un maire aussi, pas celui de Casa! C'est une préfecture de Casa mais au même niveau que la ville de Casa! :D

La mosquée Jamaa Lakbir et ses trois fontaines construite en 1298 est le plus ancien monument de la medina d'Oujda.

Tu peux trouver ces éléments dans d'autres villes d'Algérie et même en Tunisie, d'ailleurs le costume pour femmes de Tlemcen ressemble plus à celui de Tanger qu'à ceux des autres villes marocaines, c'est vraiment au cas par cas. Mais le Maghreb étant une chakchouka, ce n'est pas vraiment étonnant.

C'est vrai, à Tlemcen, c'est selon moi Lila Borsali qui en est la représentante, elle est d'ailleurs venue à Oujda.
