Wouldn't go that far.

It's definitely not the best stadium in the world, but that's not to say that it isn't absolutely stunning. Have to say though, my view of the game at it last week was pretty poor- miles away from the pitch. Though that could also be attributed to the number of guinness' taken lol. In the six nations alone, i'd say Twickenham trumphs it. But then again, Twickenham is built for rugby, and Croke is primarily for GAA, so hard to compare the two. Certainly, as pretty as Lansdowne road looks, there's no question that moving back there will feel like a step backwards- 30000 fewer fans means higher ticket prices and a larger proportion of uninterested, corporate suits.

The france game last year and the trouncing of England 3 years ago were the highs of playing there.

How is it the best stadium in the world?

Disappointing end to a magnificent 3 years at Croker.

I don’t care what anybody says, I’ve been to Croker a few times and done the tour and it’s a magnificent stadium for GAA, third biggest stadium in Europe, with a redeveloped Hill16 it would easily be the biggest in Europe.

Nice piece done by the BBC a few years ago.

Very disappointing today, poorest home performance in quite a while. Lineout was poor, scrum wan't much better, relatively simple kicks missed and so many handling errors- everyone just had an off day i suppose! To be fair, Scotland played very well, and i think they are a lot better than results have suggested in this year's tournament.

If it's such a magnificent stadium, imagine what it'd be like if they FINISHED IT!! :)
