I am curious to what mods or updates or anything that you all might be using to help improve your cities, or make the game more fun. Stuff like the industry quadrupler, or any demand enhancers, or turning water/power off, or the traffic cop. Even patches or updates that might help improve the game for you.

I personally havent used any mods or real cheats. I will admit i did give myself several grand in one city to help pay for a subway system. Or maybe i'll give myself a few thousand back in the bank if i keep messing up a highway or road construction during the start of a city. Of course I use BAT files that make the game funner :) But I am considering getting the industry quadrupler, because there is just so much space industry takes up, and my demand for Manufacturing and HT industry just wont go down. If the mod was only a doubler, i'd probably already have it. 4x is quite extensive. I'd go from about 330,000 jobs to 1.32 million! Another mod I looked at is the one that stops the buildings from turning black. Nothing is uglier than run down buildings. And its a pain in the rump when your favorite buildings turn black when there is nothing u can do about it.

So please share any you have or currently use, or are maybe considering. Thanks.

Haven't used any, and probably won't.

In one city I just wanted to build without keeping an eye on my budget window. I just type "weakness pays" like 50 times and used that to pay for a massive subway system and services. I really don't use cheats though, I just wanted to experiment. If I want to get money I would much rather use that casino from Sim City exchange that gives you a huge amount of monthly income.
