Well everyone, i just started printing out all the buildings on saturday afternoon and finished at night. So far it is looking great even just as two individual cities!

You should do some photos where it looks like the city is on a beach, and other natural places...and like it is being destoryed (naturally of course. Anything other than that...nono!!!!). Like, say volcano or something from the movies.

that would be kinda hard to do natural disasters.. but since this is a paper skyline, i think it has to worry more about pet Cocketiels, dust, and door slammings :-p

When I made three of your buildings I had to worry about the fan on the top of my room. :eeK: I guess that could be our massive wind storm! :D

I took a series of pictures of the skyline. Then I chosed only 3 out of about 20 I took. The avatar comes from a picture I rejected, however when I viewed it in small size, it just looked too real that I had to use it as my avatar :-p

Afterwards, Style stoled my avatar and used it for himself :D

Please feel free to use the avatar as well. Style and I have been discussing how we would like to see members use the avatar as well.

btw sorry Stretch, I didn't mean to do so, but as you can see your Fergosonne Building is not in view because it is blocked behind one of the larger buildings on the right side of the pan. If I had taken the picture at the same angle as last week (which was my original intension) it would be in view just like all the others.

1:2500. I use a ruler and a blade cutter.

^heyyy thats a good idea! seriously I never thought about a blade cutter.. I've been using hand sissors.

As for taping, I hope none of you are using GLUE. With that being said, I use clear Scotch tape and I tape the two ends on the outside that covers the whole length up and down of the building.

anyways yes guys, I was busy with my 'life' this weekend.. jus kidding.

But really I spent the weekend at a friends house from friday night to monday morning and have accidently withdrawed from SSC, SSP, and a couple other forums. Sorry gang.

But there SHALL be a week 4 update.. there might be a big difference with the new buildings (plus i accidently slammed the door, thus the whole skyline in its entirety will be placed differently).

Naptown - heheheh only your thin building there has a roof. I had a very hard time folding the little box penthouse for the top of it.

Ohh, in the pictures Pacifia Place II and Pacifia Place Hotel are together and Pacifia Place is in the other skyline.

Thats because II and the Hotel are the new buildings. The first skyline is made of only new buildings while the 3rd photo shows our current skyline ;)

btw i will finally get to work on that skyline pic. I've had my skyline combined and it looks pretty damn MASSIVE. But I keep forgetting that u guys don't kno how it looks since u all don't have all the buildings.

Those pictures are really cool! It really amused me because I did something similar before discovering this site as a joke. Someone for a school project had created a little 3D Park. I decided to draw a Starbucks. I cut it out, made a block out of it, and stuck it in the park, bulldozing a tree in the process. The creator of the park thought it was funny. Awesome job with all those tall buildings though, it looks like that took a lot of effort.

^well not too much effort. Back in 1999 I used paper and pencil to make buildings.. no computer.

Now having other people making the buildings for me on a computer is A LOT easier on me :D

Taylor - you might be right.. or they want to see the new pano first before designing more.

i only printed 5 of these building, and this is my skyline, well its only five building, but it will do for now, i guess it going to become a better skyline as i add more buildings.
