Hi all, thought I would start up this thread having seen how successful other people's GTC threads are going.

All the photos I use in this thread I have found on Skyscrapercity pages - from virtually everywhere on the site. To make it a tad harder, please only guess once. If you change your mind after guessing, feel free to go back and edit what you've already put but try not to post again. Cheers.

There aren't many new scoring systems but like I've used on other non-city forums, here is the points breakdown:

1 points: Continent
2 points: Country
3 points: City

Every Sunday I'll post an updated points list.

I'll post a new picture usually right at the end of each night for the following day and reveal the answer of the last photo every time I post a new photo. Some cities will be well-known and others may be unheard of. Some photos will have a small clue in them, some will be really difficult and some will just be plain obvious. It's a nice way to balance out the game. Hope you enjoy. :banana:

two cracking days in your splendid city staying in the avon gorge hotel (room overlooking the massive bar patio and that bridge that some engineer gave you bristolians!! Anyway I,ve been to all the rest and there can be no doubt about it Bristol is BY FAR the nicest city outside london.

Hi again Mike. Yes the Hotel is very nice and the room we had was very nice and spacious. Yes the weather was poor on one of the days(not too many drinking out on the terrace patio, Ha!:lol:). Parking was a bit of a problem though as the hotel dos,nt have a carpark.:cheers1:

I can imagine, well glad to hear you enjoyed Bristol. I take it staying there you probably took a little wander into Clifton Village and so must recognise some of the most recent shots in my Bristol photo thread over in the Urban Showcase. :)

I'm aware of that, and you get 3 points. What I'm saying is that if someone doesn't know the answer but guesses the same as someone who does and gets it right, they can still get 3 points. But yes, I acknowledge that you were 1st, and have been pretty amazing with all the other pictures as well!
