Yeah, there isn't mutch of a skyline there, but, to be a city in a poor country, and only with a population counting 62,973, i would say its not a bad skyline for such a city. I was not sure what grade i was going to give it, i stood between 6+/10 and 7-/10....but i concluded with a 6+/10...or a 6/10 here.

I wounder what will happend to the city durning the next 50-100 years, if the scientist are right the sea-level will rise up to 4m worldwide, the tallest "mountain" on Maldivens is 2m...! All the towns included Male will be flooded....But then the changes for that the sea level will rise 4m in some 50 years is small... :)

This is the first time that i have no idea how to rank the skyline(or the lack of it).

WOW! amazing :D.. theres no skyline, so i cant give it a 10/10, but the city looks amazing.. a whole island! i give it 6/10... i for one hope it doesnt get too too developed.. its pretty much fully urbanized already :D

The airport is located in a separate island. The airport itself occupies the whole island. Not because the airport is huge but because the island is extremely small. Hehe.

I wonder what will happen if ice starts to melt, :D.

Didn't actually get to visit the city but did however spent a week at one of the resorts... It was one of the best holidays i've had if not the most expensive as well. Loved every bit of it.

A city within a pleasant little island!

LOVE THE DENSITY!!! This is what makes a city a city. Only bad thing though is that most buildings are completely free of details and so that makes them less visually desirable for pedestrians. In such a small space one must resort to details to call for attention! Male could be the Havana of the Pacific! Imagine if it had classy colonnades under which one could walk during the heat of noon, or buildings having at least simplified classic architecture... this would be a jewel! I guess I'm seeing it all from my Cuban point of view, lol xD ... anyways its a beautiful city and great scenario. Deserves a 10!
