Here the photos I toke in Reading while visiting the UK. Unfortunatelly my photo camera toke a lot of water from the rain in Birmingham and sometimes it didn't work so I just could take this photos.

Was Reading bombed during the war? Looking at your photos, it seems like it was.

The spired building in the third photo is reminiscent somewhat of the old Citypoint design.

the one main bombing was on the town hall square ironically(the last 2 photos) which was nicely rebuilt. but not much more bombing. i agree though a lot of post war buildings of quite poor design replaced some good stuff.
still a good site for tall buildings i think.
