I like the way the culture is been conserved in arts and traditions by the people to this present age. Still, I beleive culture can be improved upon to go with the contemporary generation.

^very true, im not a believer in the whole the past = our culture, the future = someone else's culture.

i think new traditions are redefinitions of old ones are still relevant.
you still see a lot of that, like a lot of masquarades are less religious now and more competitive/sport in my village.
