defec8R, ever climbed Barney? It's a great view, on a clear day you can see light reflecting off Brisbane's Skyscrapers.

Where was that last pic taken? Looks familiar.

Where was that last pic taken? Looks familiar.That road was heading westish towards Croftby -- I'd just taken a wrong turn. And no haven't yet climbed Mt Barney (must do). I've been up some others including Mt Warning (below) in the Tweed Valley, from which you can see Barney way off to the west.

Nice camera reflection fabian.

@ Fabian, love those shots from Sydney tower. I like the fact that you can see the reflection of the inside of the tower - it reminds me of my many visits when I see the inside.

@ defec8R, Are those those chunky looking mountains south west of Brisbane. I quite love those but I have never seen Mt Barney. I have climbed Mt Warning about a dozen times and I love the view of GC in the distance.

^^ Yeah you can see those mountains from Brisbane. Mt Barney is right in the middle of the photo below. Mt Lindesay (NSW), another volcanic remnant, is a bit further away and to the left. I've worked these two into a bit of a pano here (http://server4.vnpages.net/~one/nwhr/barney_pan.jpg)
