Spring has now begun in Denmark. I had some guests and we went sightseeing in the neighbourhood. The tour went to Mårup Kirke and Lønstrup. There was a strong fresh sea breeze and it was pretty cold.

Mårup Kirke is on the edge of cliff of which the sea takes each year some meter. Last year they investigated the whole church and and removed it. The risk of the church falling into the sea was to big. They have only 2 meters high walls remaining.

Behind the church is an anchor of an English frigate which sank here in 1806 .

Lønstrup village is the nicest town here on the west coast. But there is no nice beach.
