It's in the entertainment section of the trib called which pilots will survive. Anyone know any else about this show, or when it will be airing?

Based on all the south side issues lately, and the fact that it's a Fox production, I'm guessing it's not going to paint a very flattering light on either the CPD or the city.

This isn't the show with David Tennant is it? I thought I read somewhere he's playing a Chicago cop (god, his accept will be interesting to hear)

It probably will paint chicago in a good light. The producer of the show is from rockford, and even said (I think in my second link) that he though chicago wasn't photographed often in TV. A big part of the filming is supposed to take place in the city.

I skimmed the first article, sorry. Nice to see someone local wanting to stay local.

The Forgotten is/was a pretty lame series, but they always had some really good "CSI:Miami style" skyline shots after the commercial breaks. The Beast was another Chicago series with some interesting locations, but I can't think of any other TV shows that use Chicago as a part of the storylines.

There are 2 other new shows on CBS and NBC that are also based in Chicago. Both are just comedies though.

hell yea this is definitely going to be my new favorite show... maybe if they get a good enough rating then more and more shows would film over here more often (lol i hope)

Friends With Benefits preview was kinda wierd but I'll definitely watch it as long as its on air (just to help ratings)

Well, if it's anywhere near as good as The Shield, it'll be worth watching. However, judging by the promo, it just looks like another cop show.
