The latest news is that 1390 Brickell Bay has bought the land next to the original site. That’s good news but it will delay the groundbreaking until Nov/Dec. of this year. The best part is that the building will now be 49 stories instead of 40 and they have added some very attractive sky lofts in the $400 per square ft range.

This is great news beacue that means they bought the lot in between the sepirito sanot plaza and the Four seasons, which means they'll close yet another gap in miami's ever consolidating skyline.And its now 49 stories which is great news it might even break 600 ft.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. I spoke with our girl at 1390 and the lot that was purchased will add more parking and space on the Pool/tennis deck. The added FAR will allow the building to go from 40 floors to 49. The added units will all be sky lofts (65 units worth).
The lot currently has a small commerical building on it and will be demolished.
Here is an old ariel...old like 3 years ago with no Espirito, Jade, Four Seasons, Club, etc...pretty amazing.

I really liked that small commercial building on the NE corner of the site. Im sad to see it go. I think it would have added character to the area. A small 3 story cube in the middle of 40 story giants. Oh well i hope the design for 1390 doesnt deviate too much from the original which was a very nice design.

You are right...it was kind of interesting that they held out for so long. The tower will remain the same design with more height. The base will be big cube without the little notch in it! Tennis courts will fill the space on the pool deck above the new parking.

THIS PIC Shows The Addition that I'm talking about, :) 1390 Builders will knock that building down and expand into that area. Making it Bigger, The PIC is in POST # 5. THIS is truly a Nice Condo Tower. 49 or 47 or 45 Stories, IT WILL be Great any Height, This Building will be GREAT !!! :cheers:
