BDO Tower as of yesterday the height is only 21 storey but glassy structure i hope naa pa changes. hehehehe.. Hope maka groundbreaking sila this August 2010.

Wow that's Asian Star in Alabang. It's great to know that BDO it will look similar (hopefully with the choice of materials too.), since the former looks fresh even after over a decade in operation. A great complement to the area.

Where's the exact location btw? I remember seeing a BDO branch in Fuente circle - is that the future site?

It will create its stunning skyline along with Cybergate and GT Tower..I love it. nice shot from SRP pero imo, nicer during sinulog time when ppl converge sa Fuente Osmena. Tapos they are surrounded with such views of Ultima Residence, Crown Regency, BDO, Cybergate, and GT. I love it....:D

Sana yung sa may chowking, pizzahut, and watson area na naman ang ayusin and lagyan ng highrise. :D

Thanks a lot... Unfortunately the fin structure of Cybergate will no longer be that impressive due to its orientation facing the future tower.

nice development... although basin completely matabunan na ang chong hua from fuente circle, and vice versa- chong hua annex bldg a rooms will loose its nice view of the circle...

hinaot sad i renovate sad nang tapad nga fuente police station. basin siya ray mahimong eyesore dihang lugara.. and while on this topic, since ,medyo naa na may kwarta ang syudad courtesy of srp sales, pwede ba kaha i modernize nato ang mga police stations/offices? last time I checked, mas "modern" pa ang police clearance sa mandaue kay print out, murag NBI clearance... sa cebu city police office newsprint ra tawn.. murag ilo, sorry.

Yuta mana sa probensya ang gibutangan sa police station. Mag deal unta ang BDO sa city ug capitol nga apilon nila ang police station ngaloti. Unya tagaan nila 5 storeys ang police department apil na underground and ground level parking spaces ug gun range sa sub basement, unya tax break credit for number of years for BDO to recoup the expenses + interest. So everybody wins. :cheers: :)

Notes:

The whole corner from the road at the front of Robinsons Cybergate up to the Fuente Police Station is the BDO Property.. It has an estimated area of more or less 2,000 sqm.

According to the guards on duty.... construction will start next month.. or at least the fencing and preparation of the area since they are waiting for the Fuente Police to transfer the station..

Activity ongoing everyday as per the security guard who checks the engineers and contractors who will enter the premises that is measuring the area and said he also saw the perspective which will be a 21 storey building at the back of the 4 storey structure that will be constructed first which is targeted to be completed March-April 2011.

If its a 21 story edifice ang BDO then its quiet okay,hopefully it's a glassy building para nice ang design,cos ang Crown dili kaayo impressive ang design kay medjo karaan ang design, sayang lang kay ang Robinson's Cybergate is just only 7 stories high. The Gokongwei's did'nt maximized the land mas nindot unta if taas taas pod ang Cybergate para mo compilement siya sa Crown, GT and BDO towers. Tangs building in Orchard Road Singapore and Crown have similarities due to their Chinese influence design.

^^ A new home for fuente police station will be constructed infront of the PRO 7 HQ along Osmeña Blvd. It will be a 3 story building funded by CCCI ( Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and Chong Hua Pres Lim Liu. Grounbreaking already last March 28. It will cost 5-6 million for the construction.. Thanks to these private Sectors.:cheers:

for me kung akoy mayor, kung police edifice lang, di ko mag tukod og ingun ana ka mahal just to make it look presentable. Total existing na bitaw nang Fuente Police station so no need to build another one, it is wise to appropriate the said money no much more needed structures or road improvements nga kinahanglan na gyud. Ganahan man lang gyud sa private sector nga manindot ang lugar coz they are willing to spend so dili nato ma blame ang atong LGU's kay ang nag voluneers may pursigido but it doesn't mean wala nasa'y gibuhat atong LGU's, mas gi una lang nila ang importante kay sa mag build og another one bisag nanay existing which is a waste of money for the city :yes:

agree with arnold.. i think kung itukod pa man gani.. medyo dugay. But i hope the demands for BPO spaces would trigger the fastracking of the decision. Remember, SM also has its Cyberzone... and considering that it also has a steady client like Teleperformance, VXI, Startek, K Force etc.. These BPO's doesnt have any offices in Cebu yet....so there is still alot of changes to expect.

He said YES, the high rise will be built after the completion of the 4 storey strucure. They will proceed with the finalization and design of the tower then they will build it.
It will be built at the back of the current u/c 4 storey structure he said. The parking lot will be beside (left side if facing Chonghua) the 4 and the high rise including the police station...:yes::cheers:

21 storey edifice with a motif of banco de oro colors in the exteriors would be awesome. The colors will really catch the eyes of onlookers most especially from a far. In fairness Lang pod nindot man ang Color combination sa BDO.
