President Porfirio Diaz ordered to make the city European style between 1900 and 1910 for celebrating the first 100 years of Mexican independence , The city was remodelated ans several monuments apeared like columns and french buildings including this beautiful french style opera house called "Palace of fine Arts" 52 m high, but it was finished in 1934.

it's an 8 for me!

I love its exterior but somehow I feel like it doesn't fit the city (I've been there twice), and its interior doesn't fit its exterior.

It's too "exposition style", once you enter it feels more like a typical pavillion from the beggining of XXth century than to an opera house!

but still, I like it so much that my note is an 8!
I love some details such as serpents and aztek ornamentation.
