Commuters driving along the N1 Highway in Centurion have got used to the changing landscape. The many modern office blocks being erected in the area have just been upstaged by a new unique office block being developed by M&T Development at their Byls Bridge development precinct just north of the John Vorster off ramp.
M&T Development, who have been responsible for a number of innovative developments in the area over the past years, have just raised the bar with this one of a kind building. The cutting edge contemporary design is exceptional in both form and design together with its imaginative use of materials.
This 9 000m² building is the first of a number of high quality office blocks which are to be erected in the Byls Bridge precinct. Each building will have a different architectural flavour, all distinctive cutting edge designs setting the trend for future developments in the area. Situated along one of the busiest highways in the country, the Byls Bridge precinct enjoys excellent exposure and access to the highway offering large and small businesses a prime location along this important transport route.
The building developed, built and owned by M&T Development has been constructed for AFGRI Holdings, a well known South African Company. The Lease Agreement between M&T Development and AFGRI was signed early in 2009 and will allow AFGRI to consolidate their operations into one building. The M&T team worked in close consultation with AFGRI and a careful assessment of AFGRI's requirements were determined. The building is now reaching completion with AFGRI moving into their new home in October 2010.
The Byls Bridge precinct is a mixed use development also offering retail, recreation and leisure activities. Currently the Byls Bridge Promenade retail centre is being extended and plans are under consideration for new hotels in the precinct. M&T development believe that Byles Bridge will become a destination of choice for the region offering outstanding facilities in a well located area with access from John Vorster drive.
