Watson Island would be pretty nice.

Ultra can just move to Bayfront Park or hold it on the beach in south beach.

Ultra doesn't fit at Bayfront Park, and I don't think the city would really want it there. Likewise for South Beach, it's too big an event to really hold anywhere on the island. Perhaps at South Pointe Park or at the beach itself, but I can't see that being too popular with the locals. The best place I can see it going to is at Crandon Park across from the Sony Ericcson Open.

There was 30,000 on the beach for the pre Superbowl concert. I couldn't imagine a set up on the sand for much more than that though.

Why doesn't Miami hold raves at Dolphin Stadium? LA has Electric Daisy Carnival at the LA Coliseum.

Also does Miami have any raves that are right on the beach? LA has Glow. Which is pretty mindblowing. It didn't start as a rave but it mutated into one.

Doesn't matter how far a stadium is. If the DJ's are good, people will show up. The LA Coliseum is about..hmm...2 miles or so from downtown.

What would be awesome for Miami is if during next Ultra, they would light the buildings all sorts of colors. Think of Hong Kong during it's nightly Symphony of Lights.

You crazy! Having ULTRA @ Bicentennial is the perfect idea! Just raving with that skyline in the back of the stage and the bay @ the side creates a unique atmosphere. The stadium is surrounded by low-rise residential areas (and some of them not very nice)! How fun would that be?!?!?!?

Ultra needs to stay near downtown or South Beach somewhere.

I love the U.S and Miami was very fun, but Ibiza is party/rave/dance capital sorry.... that's just what they do best, it is what keeps those islands going.

Every year the worlds best DJ's vote for their top ten club venues in the world, 4 or 5 of them are usually found on the Ibiza strip, London makes a consistent appearance at number 2 with 'Fabric' (the only club in the world where the floor 'body - sonic' acts as a speaker) and 'Ministry of Sound' usually appears there somewhere too.

Miami usually comes in with 'Pawn Shop Lounge' or 'Cameo' but Berlin and Tokyo sometimes score higher. The last top ten list even included 'Stereo' in Montreal.

Not my words, the words of the DJ's who play these global venues.

Then again, how fun is Ibiza in the winter?
You can stay in Miami year round and stay at the beach in the day and get to world class DJ's in the evening.

^^^^ They are both great cities to party till you drop....however, Europe in general has a large and better night life when it comes to dance clubs and venues. We are just now getting the "Matinee" parties in Miami...and those have been going for a long time in Europe.

The Mediterranean climate and the architecture is unparalleled in Ibiza, including night life, but Miami is not a lame horse either! I love SOME parts of Miami....Ibiza, all of it!

^^We used to run fishing trips to Bimini quite frequently (until the red tape and fees with the Bahamian government just became intolerable).

The fishing there is deservedly famous, but frankly there really isn't much else going on in Bimini. Kind of surprised to see a commercial venture like this and wonder how viable it will prove to be, but I wish them well.

I've been going to that festival for a couple years now and, yeah, it's really great. This year's is only a few weeks away.

^ I want to go but I'm broke. EDC here in LA got moved to Vegas. It doesn't make much sense to move a giant rave to the desert of Vegas in July. People lost their shit when that 15 year old girl OD'ed last year. Imagine the bodies dropping in 110 degree heat. :\

lol. Well, i can tell you none of those compare with Tryst in Vegas. There are so many clubs in Vegas like Pure, Rain, Encore, Tryst,Haze, etc. The pool parties in Vegas are insane.
