The first overpass bridge in the north-central region of Nigeria, being constructed by the administration of Dr. Bukola Saraki in Ilorin (capital city of Kwara State) will soon be completed. The delay in the completion of this project has been attributed to ongoing work on street lights on the overpass (flyover). Also, work on the cargo terminal being constructed by the administration of Dr. Bukola Saraki at the Ilorin International Airport is 99% complete. This was revealed by the State Commissioner for Works and Transport during a recent media interview. It is envisaged that other support infrastucture and the taxi way for the cargo terminal will be completed in about 3 months time. When completed, the cargo terminal is expected to be a stimulant to export promotion.
