Feng shui info:

The Gardens of Bishan condominium consists of 4 blocks of 20-storey condominium units.

http://www.myhome.com.sg/gardensbishan/images/4animals1.gif

The 4 blocks: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Reminds me of Vivaldi's popular classical baroque music: The Four Seasons. This soothing music is said to bring one's heart beat down to 70 beats per second.

2. Applied Shapes and Form Feng Shui in action

Overall, this condominium project scores highly in Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui. The Gardens at Bishan is a good example of `Applied Shapes and Form Feng Shui in action'.

The 4 condominium blocks are arranged in a U-shaped and it tries to take advantage of water features to provide clear space at the frontage of this condominium.
http://www.myhome.com.sg/gardensbishan/images/topdownviewb.jpg

The frontage of the condominium has several water features such as the Main Pool, Lap Pool, Water fountain and water features and greenery.

3. High Ground behind the development

The high ground behind the development like the tortoise shell, `acts' as a hill to provide `solid backing' for the back of the condominium.

4. Semi-circular Water Feature

In addition, it also has a Traditional semi-circular water feature that radiates outwards of the frontage of the condominium. Please see below:-
http://www.myhome.com.sg/gardensbishan/images/mingtang.jpg

5. Dragon Qi is not trapped

Another interesting feature is the low club house at the centre of the development. This allows `dragon' qi to flow freely from the back of the development towards the front.

Visited the place when they sell their shop units. 99 yr LH cheaper by 25% compare to FH shop units. retail units will have same rent value, hence the 99 yr retail units will yield better.

Never come to my mind to buy anything residential units in Sin Min Rd. Shop & retail store can buy. Must be 1st floor.

Stay purpose I suppose. It looks like it is quite convenient to get around as a few highway and MRT is just round the corner. Thomson is quite central or no? Selling price now is approx $1200 psf for freehold.

I compared the plans of both this condo and Park Central @ AMK, and the HDB looks better. Haha.

Notice the two rows of balconies lining the verticals of each tower in the render? Each balcony is shared by 2 units, it is internally divided by a small void, whcih is quite useless in terms of privacy.

There is a dedicated clover owners forum at freeforums.org.

The views there are real and sincere.

Clover is a good project, although I am not an owner (seriously thinking to buy), I think it has great potential at current (750psf) price.

A property will be "valued" if it has the following:
(1) Demand - Clover is near good schools like Cat High, RI, Aitong. Demand will always be there.
(2) Utility - Near HDB (some say low class), but actually it is very convenient, Prime supermart, 24-hr kopitiam etc
(3) Scarcity - Where can one find a condo near such a big park like Bishan Park, with river makeover, next time even better !
(4) Transferability - No doubt, all condos have this feature, even 99-year leasehold like Clover, it is not about the lease, but the location. Mind you no condo is more than 40 years... and 99-year can actually last 3 generations (as most people purchase when they are about 40 years old)!

The only negative in my opinion is that it is not exactly near MRT, takes 12 minutes to walk.

This is definitely good news for CLOVER's.

Bishan Park undergoes S$76m facelift
By Ong Dai Lin, TODAY | Posted: 02 October 2009 1228 hrs

Singapore - One of Singapore's most popular parks is about to blossom - with a river promenade, cafes, themed playgrounds and diverse wildlife to give it vibrancy.

This will be the new face of Bishan Park after the 35-metre wide canal beside it is transformed into a river that meanders through the park - the first time a canal will be naturalised and integrated into a park in Singapore.

When completed in 2011, it will also be linked to the Kallang River.

To give the 3km man-made waterway the natural feel of a river, soil bio-engineering techniques - the use of plant materials and traditional engineering methods - will be employed for the first time in Singapore. There will be greenery and rocks along the river walls to prevent soil erosion and to beautify its banks. The greenery will also provide a natural habitat for wildlife.

This revamp is being commissioned under the Public Utilities Board's (PUB) Active, Beautiful, and Clean Waters (ABC Waters) Programme, after a 60m stretch of Bishan Park was converted into a river waterway as a test bed for the project last December. One of the biggest challenges, said PUB's 3P network director Yap Kheng Guan, was to decide which plants to use, as these need to survive river water currents.

The $76-million project is undertaken in conjunction with the redevelopment of the 20-year-old park by the National Parks Board. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will launch the project tomorrow.

PUB is also working on eight other projects under its ABC Waters Programme. These include the building of a floating island in Sengkang to link residents from one bank of Sungei Punggol to the other via a floating bridge.

V Two is freehold while V One is 99 years. The design is more of a SOHO Studio Concept. Am considering buying V Two and I heard it is sold out within 2 hours when it first launched in April.

Any buyers here? Can share your views?

Dear Wildebox,

I have a unit for sale, do let me know if you are keen.

Thanks

For the street facing units in Clover by the Park, is it true that all they will see will be buildings nomatter how high up the level? I've checked an it seems that the Clover by the Park and Natura Loft are both about the same at 39/40 levels. However, the other HDB towers in the area are 30 levels and lower, plus their ceiling heights are lower than Clover by the Park.

It's likely cos Clover is on a lower ground...in terms of view Natura Loft shld be much better. For Clover shld get the park facing - safer if u want unblock view

The junction is so crowded and noisy when I was there. Just look at what happened to Thomson V One (looks very worn). Not sure if even worth 1200psf in today's market.

Oh the walk to Marymount cutting thru Shunfu is approx 8 mins at brisk pace.
