This thread is intended to organize modelers future models, where:

-Modelers should post their claimed models
-new comers can check this thread to avoid starting blindly working on a model already claimed by someone else.
-forumers can suggest models. (do not provide the suggested model pictures here, post them in this thread (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1085857) instead.)
-modelers can "negotiate" a building claimed by one of them, if they believe they can provide a better representation of it.
-forumers can check this thread and contact the corresponding modelers if they have found/taken new pictures for a claimed model.

Modelers are asked to:

1-post your claimed models in a PROFESSIONAL and ORGANIZED way by respecting the following:

1a) provide a full official name of the claimed building.
1b) provide the coordinates for more clarification.
1c) provide a thumbnail (optional). If you choose to put a thumbnail, the picture should not exceed 150 pixels in height and/or 15kb.
1d) provide the Estimated Completion Date or ECD. (also optional)
1e) When a claimed project is completed, mark it with a green "COMPLETED" mark next to its name, as well as provide a link to its correspondent post next to the ECD (by replacing the date). *Also provide a link to your model location in 3dwarehouse by adding the hyper-link to the completed model's title.
1f) You can go back and list old completed models for archiving, but in case you're and old modeler having too much completed models, u can provide a link to your 3dwarehouse personal model collection, as a bulk reference.(also will come in handy in not flooding the thread with more or less obsolete data).
1g) Mark the model you're working on with a blue "CURRENT" mark next to its name, as well as the estimated ECD date.
1h) When you decide to abandon a project, mark it with an orange "AVAILABLE" mark, so that modelers who are willing to takeover it can contact the correspondent modeler by PM to get his acceptance. Once the transfer process is fulfilled, the model in case will be marked by a gray "TRANSFERRED>[modeler's name]", and a new field containing the same model infos will be created in the new modeler's list, with a gray "TAKEOVER" mark. (old modeler's name is not required, since it's still shown in his list and labeled by a "TRANSFERRED" mark.)*
1i) It is recommended that modelers create a collection containing all their personal GE models on 3dwarehouse, then add its link to the bottom of their post(s) in this thread. It's also recommended to add the link of this thread "claimed 3D models" to the 3dwarehouse personal collection, in order to guide potential new modelers into SSC and our team.*

1j) When a modeler is in desperate need for pictures of a building he's working on, and wants to ask the help of the community (not only the modelers), put that** huge icon next to the correspondent model. This option is called the "SOS flare", and should be used WISELY by following those rules:

-You are only allowed to use that option for ONE model.
-The status of the model should be "CURRENT".*
-Use it ONLY when desperate need is present, and not before searching for pictures on your own and reaching a dead end. (You don't wanna bother everyone looking for/taking pictures for you when you have missed Panoramio for example.)
-bump the thread by posting a single word like "HELP", so that the thread is lit up and forumers can know that a fellow member is in need for their cooperation.
-remove the SOS icon immediately when its task is fulfilled and the model is completed.
-Members are asked to help a fellow forumer in need with ALL means necessary.
-Moderators are asked to remove the "HELP" post afterwards. (badna n3azbak Beiruti :))



2-Update your posts frequently if needed, by putting a red *new* label near the updated field to ease noticing.

3-Please modelers, follow those rules:

3a) if you're not the "planner" type and don't have long term future plans, post at least the model you're working on currently.
3b) Do not flood the thread with unnecessary posts (like a post to each claimed project). Instead, keep it organized and easily ACCESSIBLE.
3c) do not claim projects you are NOT capable of doing, and keep it reasonable.
3d) If you THINK you are capable of doing a project, ask yourself about the end result, and keep in mind that "adequate" quality is NOT acceptable in the Lebanon in 3D project. Try to negotiate the project in public instead.
3e) keep it reasonable when claiming several projects, ie, do not claim the whole Beirut waterfront, and try not to be selfish.
3f) Forgetting to post your projects here is not an excuse, and, unless your future project is EXPLICITLY sited here, it will remain AVAILABLE.
3g) New comers are asked to check this thread BEFORE STARTING ON ANY MODEL WHATSOEVER. Failing to do so will place them in DIRECT competition with old modelers IF they (new comers) conflicted with one of theirs (old modelers claimed models).
3h) Try to keep the important activity in the first page of this thread, Because, if you're gonna make a new post for each new model, new comers will be excused for not noticing what's going on on page 10 for example. Instead, keep the other pages for discussions, suggestions...etc, and update your first posts when needed.
