I said many months ago the sharks need a big closet clean out and new signing and it looks like I was right;
I said maey bosman is teh most under rated centre in the country and we need a good 12 to replace barret, que bosman signs for sharks.
I said sharks need the ebesrsom twins (centre and flyhalf) , que siging for sharks.
I said we need a pacy wing , que signed mapoe
Fuck im a genius

i can understanding poaching for fs "better pay , big city lights etc" but i thought the lions were one of the more wealthier unions so holding on to players should be easier

mate the embarrrsment factor of being a lion is motivation enough to be poached, plus some dumbass contarcts by the joburg union allows poaching.

Maybe, but they go around handing out application forms at school games like the other acadamies don't they?

Anyway, my hope for the 2011 Super 15: Melbourne Retards lose all 16 games, only 1 Aus teams makes the play-offs, and loses in the 1st round, 2 of Sharks, Stormers and Bulls make the play-offs, and another SA team to win it. :)

me like Mayer Bosman confirms sharks move, as I predicted Sharks will buy a hot inside centre and this guy is the best in the country.

Now for the ebersom twins and a tall wing

Fly half sorted with Jaques Louis potgieter signed

Scrummy Ok with macloed as no1

just gotta get rid of more dead wood (terblance, ndungane, smit which i never thought Id say)

Its just the twists and turns of a long competition. Stormers will do this from time to time.
Bulls will come back hard now, you watch. As a matter of fact, the match was bizarrely very even, if you take away the Bulls 477 knock ons! Even when there was no defender in sight!
And the Sharks are very powerful. Everyone was going on about them losing 3 in a row - but they were overseas, and one of them was against the Crusaders.
They still got 12 points from their road trip - so they are definately up there.

Now, lets celebrate Charl's huge win!

And the fact that he downed the aussies and condemned them to NEVER having won the masters! MwhaahahhahHAAA!

he is a machine for clemont and has been MoM many times in teh top 14 games ive watched. Scored a hatrick against AB's , not many players ever do that. He was treated badley by WP (does dewet barry ring a bell) when he was injured and left for cheetahs to get game time, granted he is 32 but in teh form of his life.

AD will go cos he couldent run through an open band door and Stefan needs to hand up boots

stormers BMT?? Phhhahaaa ha ha ha not in a milion years. Blew 2 finals last year, blew beating saders who are desimated with injuries.

They are starting to belive their own hype and like the pommie sporting teams have won before the play, hense they adont have the BMT.

Campare to sharks who were 10 pointe behind and showed lost of Gees to smake brumbies and get 5 points

The Sharks were up against the hopeless Brumbies. We were up against arguably the toughest team in the comp.
And does anyone know why the ref didn't award the try when the crusaders took that quick throw in?

And the Crusaders were infringing ridiculously in the last ten, and the ref finally sends a guy off AFTER the full time hooter! Fucksakes, what good is that to the Stormers?

Durbsboi

what a game by the lions well done to elton and josh strauss , even if the brumbies weren't at their best

bt the sbw offload(yes that's what were callin them now) and the stepping by elton was brilliant king carlos is defiantly mentoring him into a complete running 10 , it's a shame he hasn't been given much protection by his forward pack imagine if he was playing behind the sharks pack or the stormers .

ps: to be honest the whole lions team played well considering the dubious decisions " the yellow card and disallowed try"

as for the stormers just say thank you to the cheetahs for saving ur ass

our new centre

GARETH DUNCAN looks at the Saffas who impressed in Europe over the weekend.

Centre Marius Joubert was the top South African performer in the European league play-offs this weekend, producing an impressive 80-minute performance that contributed to Clermont’s 27-17 comeback victory against Biarritz in the French Top 14 semi-final qualifiers. Clermont were 17-6 down at half-time, but gave a strong second-half showing for the win. Joubert, who will join the Sharks at the end of Clermont’s season, will now feature in his team’s semi-final clash against Toulouse on 28 May.

Love to see the Brumbies lose, at home nogal, to the Lions! Beautiful to watch. And as you say, yellow cards and the rest, so typical over there, and they still did it.
That was the offload of the season by the way - sonny bill who?

As for the Cheetahs, I picked them to win by 15, and boy did they do it. The centres played the crusader centres off the park, literally. And Ashley Johnson needs a bok call up for sure, his work rate is massive.

SA BOY
May 16th, 2011, 02:12 PM
it was but he is like the french rugby team is a hit and miss affair. sometimes Johnson has a massive game and sometimes you wonder if he was actually playing. Spies is the biggest disapointment for me over the weekend, pity about the poor stormers. so belive their own hype

Spies needs to spend less time in the gym and start playing rugby again - he is like...all muscle but no go forward, and he doesn't seem to have any rugby instinct at the moment.

Personally I have not seen Johnson have a bad game - maybe he is becoming more consistent?
