No India doesn't have a single chance at winning the 2020 Bid. The Commonwealth Games preparations have been absolutely atrocious. Money being misspent, abused, bureaucracy is ruining India's chances in this Commonwealth Games.

India has got a lot of potential but seldom uses it consistently.

One of my friends from India shares my critical opinion that India has no chance whatsoever unless it can prove itself otherwise because at the moment its not looking too good for India.

Jesus, TBH im sick of these 3rd world countries that can't feed their own people spending billions of silly events and space agencies while we give them billions in aid.

I think Cape Town will be the front runner for 2020. The IOC are desperate to look inclusive and bringing the games to Africa a la the WC (RSA the only really viable option) gives them another opportunity to pat themselves on the back.

Why doesn't this thread belong in the "Cultural and Sporting Venues" section when it IS about culture and sporting venues.

This is UK and Ireland section. Last time I checked, India was around 5000miles away on an altogether different continent.

Have a look down through the threads in this section, and you'll find the vast majority if not all of the venues are in UK and Ireland.

It just shouldn't be here.
