This is another tower I found under construction right behind Mariott. It didnt have any board or anything on it and there was allot of security around it so I couldnt get out and inquire around. One of my friends told me that its called Talpur House but I'm not sure.

Everyone! Try to find out what the hell this is? It looks like its gonna be 15-17 floors tall.

i have an doubt about this building (Gatronova House) but the details of the company is correct
thay can't invest huge amount on the buliding, Bcoz they r also inprocess of setting up an power plant for commercial purpose

i had worked as an trainee engineer in this copmpnay (Gatron in Hub) Power department, it generates its own Electricity around 48-50 MW. its an yarn manufacturer & P.E.T. Resin bottle grade, named as, "Gatronova PET Resin". for a coke & mineral water compnay(u can chck out by seeing the bottle neck GT/GI is embosed on it )

& its head office is in 7 or 8th floor-textile plaza, Karachi & usually interviews r conducted in its site office i.e in Hub balouchistan, so whats the use of this huge building

If you count the extremely shitty quality buildings as well, then yes, thousands. But buildings which are going up in areas like Korangi, Lyari, Shah Faisal etc are slum quality buildings in other countries, and in my eyes as well. I would say 200-300 buildings of decent quality are going up right now in Karachi proper.
