Last year I visited my cousins in NYC over the 9 11 anniversary period. My cousin worked in the twin towers he's an interior/decorator/architect.
I stayed in his friends apartment on Cornelia St West Village Manhattan Island.
The stay was excellent I had never been to the states before and was completely dumbstruck by the whole sky rise experience. I mean really loved the place. I'm a student studying architecture and my personal background is in history and theory of art/architecture. The whole deal struck me as an awe inspiring event that has got me into eco skyscraper architecture.
My problem is that towards the end of my stay in the apple I downloaded my photos to a host site and lost the lot somewhere in the ether.
My request is does anyone have pics to share with me of the West village in particular the Bleecker/Cornelia St area. The atmosphere was brilliant I seriously considered what it would be like to reside. I have searched for and found photos of the st but find them all too professional and would like to see some that fit the vibe that I had as an (amateur) outsider looking into that awesome city. My cousins are from Hawaii so cant really help me on this one at the mo.' All response will be deeply appreciated Thanx
